The best time to visit Skardu is from April to November. In April you experience the beautiful colors of apricot and cherry blossom. However, Deosai Plains will not be accessible in April. From May till September, you will experience the lush green landscapes and the weather is pretty favorable at this time to make the most out of it. However, in October and November, you will experience the best of Autumn.

Skardu gets mild temperatures in summer and the weather remains pretty good to enjoy without getting cold. In April and November, the evenings are cold. It is recommended to keep an extra coat to enjoy the rainy evenings.
