Your journey begins by taking a direct flight from Lahore to Skardu, which offers stunning views of the northern landscapes of Pakistan. Upon arrival in Skardu, you will be greeted by a driver who will transfer you to private Prado’s (vehicles).
Your first destination will be the upper Kachura Lake, where you’ll embark on a short trek of 20-25 minutes to reach the serene and picturesque Shangrila Lake, Known for its tranquil beauty and clear waters, Shangrila Lake (also known as Lower Kachura Lake) offers an opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and relax amidst breathtaking surroundings.
After exploring the lake and soaking in the natural beauty, continue to discover the unique landscapes of Soq Valley for about half an hour.
Your adventure continues with a visit to the majestic Manthoka Waterfall. This waterfall is not only a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts but also offers a tranquil ambiance to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. After spending some quality time at Manthoka Waterfall, proceed towards the famous Katpana Cold Desert. Here, you will explore the surreal landscape of sand dunes, which are a unique feature of this cold desert. Engage in exciting activities like jeep safaris and other thrilling adventures amidst the sand dunes, allowing you to experience the desert’s rugged beauty up close.
Next, your journey takes you to the historic and culturally rich Shigar Valley. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel in Shigar Valley before being transferred to Skardu Airport. Here, bid farewell to the stunning landscapes of Skardu as you board your flight back home.
Take direct flight from Lahore to Skardu After 1 hour direct flight travel, greet the driver and transfer to private Prados. Move towards upper Kachuera lake with a short trek of 20-25 minutes. After breakfast drop at the Skardu Airport before the flight time. Fly back to home land via flight.
